As a new client of mine, you will share ownership of this project from the inception to the final delivery in this 5-step process- starting now.
Here’s a quick overview of my typical process for creative and strategy projects.
DISCOVERY: Discovering your why.
After requesting contact, we will schedule our initial discovery call on the project. In this call, I will learn more about your business, the problems you need solved, project details, and how you define success with the project. Take a look at some of the discovery questions I will ask throughout our discussion. After our call, I will synthesize our conversation into a proposal and a statement of work document. With approval, we will move on to the EXPLORATION phase.
Define, uncover, prioritize.
EXPLORATION: Explore the landscape.
I begin research on the project. The type of research needed depends on the project, and the assets you may have available. I will go everywhere from mall advertisements to design magazines to Reddit & Quora. I will present my findings to ensure we are aligned before drafting anything.
Synthesize, research, understand.
IDEATION: Rapid prototype draft.
Before committing to a full-fledged designed, I will create high or low fidelity outlines, wireframes, rough sketches, plans, calendars, and prototypes depending on the project and the timeline. From here, we can easily pick apart and chisel down the prototype into the final concept we will move forward with.
Brainstorm, align, clarify.
DEVELOPMENT:
Surprisingly, the design process goes faster after spending time clarifying in the IDEATION phase. Here, I am polishing, refining, and perfecting.
Design, create, refine.
DELIVERY.
And we’re done! Most packages have room for at least one revision at this point, but because of the regular alignment throughout this transparent process, that’s usually all I will need to deliver exactly what you need.
